OUR LEADERSHIP

Board Member and Chairman since 2021. Sheikh Saqr brings financial expertise to the Board of RAK Ceramics having worked in multiple relevant roles both in the public and private domains. Sheikh Saqr is part of the investment team at the Investment and Development Office, the sovereign investment arm of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah overseeing a portfolio of strategic assets. Sheikh Saqr holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and International Finance from CASS Business School, City University of London.

Board Member since 2015, reappointed in 30 March 2021 AGM for a three year term till 29 March 2024. Mr. Fawaz is the Chairman of the Board, CEO and Head of Investment Committee of Al Rajhi United, a family owned investment company with offices in Riyadh, Jeddah, New York and Dubai, focusing on public equity, private equity and real estate and he is also the Chairman of RAK Porcelain LLC. Mr. Fawaz holds Master in Business Administration from Stanford University, USA and Bachelors in MIS and Accounting from KFUPM, KSA.

Board Member since 2015. Sheikh Khalid holds business management qualification from New York University, Abu Dhabi Campus. Sheikh Khalid Bin Saud Al Qasimi is the Chairman of Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah and Vice Chairman of the Investment and Development Office, Government of Ras Al Khaimah. Sheikh Khalid Bin Saud Al Qasimi has extensive experience in finance and investment management.

Mr. Al Abdouli had been appointed as a Member of the Board in November 2022, to replace Mr. Khalid Al Eisri and to complete his term until March 2024. Mr. Al Abdouli is the Chief Executive Officer of Al Marjan Island, a leading developer for freehold land in Ras Al Khaimah and a Board Member in RAK Properties PJSC. Prior to this position, he had served as Director of Town Planning and Survey Administration and Director of Project Management Office at RAK Municipality. He also had held previously Board Member positions for several RAK-based governmental entities including RAK International Airport Authority and RAK Sewerage Authority. Mr. Al Abdouli holds a Masters in Regional & Urban Planning from Paris Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi and has most recently earned a certificate as Real Estate Investment Strategies from Harvard University.

Board member since 2016. Re-appointed in 30 March 2021 AGM for a three year term till 29 March 2024. Mr. Moukahhal has more than 12 years of experience in private equity investments and is currently serving as Board Member of RAK Porcelain, RAK Ceramics India and RAK Ceramics Bangladesh. Mr. Moukahhal is the head of alternative investment of Artal Capital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Moukahhal holds a MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Finance from McGill University.

Appointed in 30 March 2021 AGM for a term of three years till 29 March 2024. He Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Sharjah, Master’s in International Law, Public Relations and Diplomacy from the Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah. Currently, he is the General Manager of RAK Real Estate and the Board Member of RAK Porcelain LLC.

Board Member since June 2021. Mrs. Farah Al Mazrui has more than 13 years of experience in financial advisory, strategy, investment as well as wealth management solutions to large Corporates, Families, Individuals and Governments. She holds B.Sc Hons -Economics from Queen Mary, University of London and M.Sc -Risk Management and Financial Engineering from Tanaka Business School, Imperial College. She was Associate Director – Global Advisory in Rothschild & Co., a Leading independent financial advisory group providing M&A, strategy, and financing advice, as well as investment and wealth management solutions to large Corporates, Families, Individuals, and Governments globally. She also serves as a Board Member of Emirates Steel ARKAN PJSC.

Abdallah Massaad is Group CEO of RAK Ceramics. He has more than 25 years of experience in industrial manufacturing and ceramics and has a fond understanding of regional and international markets having successfully developed operations through his business leadership abilities across different geographies. Prior to RAK Ceramics, Abdallah Massaad was GM of ICC SARL, Lebanon. Abdallah Massaad holds post-graduate qualifications in Management’ DEA in Business Administration’ (1998) and an undergraduate degree “Maitrise in Business Administration – Marketing” from USEK (Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik), Lebanon. He is fluent in Arabic, French and English and also speaks basic German.

Jasem Al Khateri is the Chief Human Resources Officer at RAK Ceramics, bringing over 25 years of experience in Human Capital Management, Culture Transformation, and Organizational Development. He plays a strategic role in aligning the company’s people agenda with its business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture and enabling organizational growth.

Prior to joining RAK Ceramics, Mr. Al Khateri was the Group Chief People Officer at EMSTEEL where he led transformative HR initiatives across talent management, digital transformation, and organizational integration. His career also includes senior HR leadership roles at the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi and Etisalat.

Mr. Al Khateri holds an Executive MBA from UAE University and has completed the Executive Program in Human Resources Strategy at London Business School. He is also a CIPD-certified professional and an EFQM Excellence Assessor.

Philip Gore-Randall is the Audit and Risk Committee Expert. He has many years of extensive experience at a senior level in large private and publicly held international organizations and has a portfolio of advisory and Board roles. He is currently Chairman of several international companies, Chairman of two Audit Committees of other businesses (including Samena Capital) and an adviser to several others. He spent most of his executive career at Andersen where he was an audit partner for 26 years; and where he ran the Firm’s UK practice and subsequently became the Global COO. He is a UK Chartered Accountant and holds an MA from University College, Oxford.

PK Chand is the Group Chief Financial Officer for RAK Ceramics. He has over 39 years of experience in Corporate Finance including treasury/working capital, project finance, debt and equity capital market instruments and fundraising. Prior to joining RAK Ceramics, he was the CFO at RAK Investment Authority and the CFO for Birla Corporation in India. Mr. Chand is a Chartered Accountant and holds accountancy qualifications from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mr. Vibhuti Bhushan is the Chief Governance and Sustainability Officer for RAK Ceramics. He has over 3 decades of global leadership experience in Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Executive Leadership, and Sustainability. Prior to joining RAK Ceramics, Mr. Bhushan held senior roles in risk management at Arcelor Mittal, Essar Group and Amba Research. Mr. Bhushan holds an MBA degree from IIM Calcutta, CFA charter from the CFA Institute, USA, and is a certified Sustainability & Climate Risk Professional from Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), USA.

Shakti Arora is the Chief Procurement Officer for RAK Ceramics. He has 40 years of extensive experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Mergers and Acquisitions, Cross-border integration, P&L leadership, and Start-ups. Prior to joining RAK Ceramics, Mr. Arora held senior roles at Holcim Cement Company, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) and Mahindra Forging (Europe/UK). Mr. Arora holds an MBA degree from MITS, Gwalior, India and a B.E. from IMDR, Pune, India.

Basavaraj Patil is the Chief Operations Officer for the Tiles Division for RAK Ceramics. He has more than 32 years of experience in the operations of Tiles production and projects. Prior to joining RAK Ceramics Mr. Patil held roles at Bell Ceramics and Kajaria Ceramics. Mr. Patil holds an Engineering Degree in Ceramics & Cement Technology from PDA College of Engineering and an MBA degree from Bolton University, UAE.

Renu Oommen is the Chief Marketing Officer for RAK Porcelain. He has over 28 years of multifaceted experience in the management Tiles, Sanitaryware, Faucets and Porcelain tableware business. Prior to his current role, Mr. Oommen was the Chief Marketing Officer for RAK Sanitaryware business and the General Manager for KLUDI RAK. Mr. Oommen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Marketing and Cost Accounting from Mahatma Gandhi University.

Bobby Joseph is the Chief Executive Officer of RAK Ceramics – India, bringing with him over two decades of proven leadership across some of the world’s most respected brands in the building materials and consumer sectors. Prior to joining RAK Ceramics, he successfully led LIXIL Water Technology in India and the Subcontinent, driving growth for iconic brands such as GROHE and American Standard. His career spans senior leadership roles at Plantronics, Walt Disney, Nokia, and Berger Paints. Bobby holds an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai.

Mr. Sak Ekramuzzaman is one of the major local equity investors in RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited. He was elected as a member of Bangladesh Parliament in January 2024. Besides managing diversified business interests of the RAK group, he is also involved in a number of other business interests in Bangladesh. Mr. Ekramuzzaman is also a member of the board of RAK Power Pvt. Ltd. and RAK Security and Services Pvt.  Ltd., subsidiaries of RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited.
Mr. Ekramuzzaman has been conferred “CIP Industry 2017” by the government of Bangladesh in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the industrial development of Bangladesh.

Leonardo de Muro is the Corporate Vice President – Group Int’l BD and Marketing & Communications at RAK Ceramics, bringing over 30 years of experience in the ceramics and building materials industry. He plays a strategic role in driving the company’s global brand positioning, international business growth, marketing strategy, and innovation agenda.

Prior to joining RAK Ceramics in 2018, Leonardo held senior leadership positions with renowned European ceramic companies, including Tagina Ceramiche d’Arte, Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola, and Kale Group. Throughout his career, he has contributed to global market expansion, brand development, sales leadership, and the growth of internationally recognised ceramic brands.

At RAK Ceramics, Leonardo continues to champion design excellence, innovation, and sustainability, strengthening the company’s position as one of the world’s leading ceramics brands while fostering collaboration across global markets and teams.

Nikhil Chaturvedi is the to Corporate Vice President IT, leading the company’s global Information Technology and Digital Transformation agenda. He is responsible for driving business value through the strategic integration of Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), Digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI), enabling innovation, operational excellence and sustainable growth across the Group.

Nikhil holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and an MBA from the University of Mumbai. He brings extensive cross-industry experience spanning Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining & Metals, Building Materials, Chemicals and Ports, with expertise in operational excellence, digital transformation and enterprise technology.

A recognised thought leader in digital innovation, Nikhil is a frequent keynote speaker, presenter and panelist at leading industry forums. He is an honorary member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Asia Pacific Technology Committee and has authored numerous white papers and technical publications featured in industry journals, books and digital platforms

Moez Khalid Iqbal is the Corporate Vice President – Surfaces Division at RAK Ceramics PJSC, with over 35 years of experience in the global tile industry. He leads the Surfaces Division with a strong focus on strategic growth, commercial excellence, and market expansion across international markets. Throughout his career, he has built high-performing teams, fostered lasting customer partnerships, and successfully driven business development in diverse regions. With deep industry expertise and a results-oriented leadership style, Moez, continues to play a key role in strengthening RAK Ceramics’ position as a global leader in innovative ceramic and surface solutions.

Tarek Skaf is Corporate Vice President, Commercial at RAK Ceramics, leading the global commercial organization across multiple regions and product lines with responsibility for Chief Commercial Officer scope. He brings 20 years of experience building high-performance sales teams, driving commercial transformation in complex multi-geography markets, and venturing into new geographies. Previously, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Medica Group, where he led group P&L across five verticals and eight countries and delivered consistent EBITDA growth. Earlier, as Managing Director at G.Tamer Holding/Zimmer Biomet, he scaled a regional dental division across nine markets while establishing new subsidiaries and achieving 40% offshore revenue. Tarek holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from ESCP-EAP Europe and a Master’s degree in Communications, and is fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Sari Kanaan is the Vice President and Global General Counsel of RAK Ceramics, leading the company’s global legal function and providing strategic counsel across its international operations spanning more than 150 countries. He plays a pivotal role in supporting the Group’s business objectives by strengthening corporate governance, managing legal and regulatory risk, and enabling sustainable growth in an increasingly complex global business environment. Prior to joining RAK Ceramics, Sari held multiple leadership/executive roles, including Chief Legal Counsel Southeast Asia of AkzoNobel, Senior Legal Counsel META, AkzoNobel and Middle East First General Counsel of PwC, to name a few.
