Environmental responsibility is at the core of RAK Ceramics’ operations, guiding how we manage resources, reduce emissions, and minimize environmental impact. As a manufacturing business, we recognize the importance of using energy, water, and raw materials efficiently while preventing pollution and advancing circular practices.

Through continuous investment in advanced technologies, process optimization, and operational controls, we are driving improvements across our operations—supporting long-term sustainability and contributing to a more resilient, low-carbon future.

1. ENERGY EFFICIENCY

RAK Ceramics enhances energy efficiency through continuous process optimization, advanced technologies, and equipment upgrades across its manufacturing operations. In 2025, total energy consumption reached 978,435 GJ, reflecting ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and support decarbonization.

2. WATER SUSTAINABILITY

RAK Ceramics adopts a comprehensive approach to water management through treatment, recycling, and reuse systems. The company treats and reuses 100% of its wastewater, supported by Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) and closed-loop processes, significantly reducing freshwater consumption.

3. WASTE AND CIRCULARITY

RAK Ceramics promotes circularity by minimizing waste and reintegrating production materials into manufacturing processes. In 2025, over 68,000 tons of materials were recycled and reused, reducing landfill disposal and improving resource efficiency.

4. SUSTAINABLE LOGISTICS

RAK Ceramics works to reduce the environmental impact of its logistics operations by optimizing transport efficiency and collaborating with partners to support lower-carbon supply chains. These initiatives contribute to reduced fuel consumption and improved operational sustainability

5. AIR POLLUTION

RAK Ceramics manages air emissions through improved combustion efficiency, cleaner fuel use, and process optimization. Emissions are continuously monitored to ensure they remain within regulatory limits, minimizing environmental impact across operations.

6. EMISSION REDUCTION

RAK Ceramics focuses on reducing emissions through energy efficiency initiatives and technological innovation. In 2025, Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions were 378,346 tCO₂e and 9,453 tCO₂e respectively, reflecting ongoing progress toward decarbonization.
